RegulationSystems requires to be inspected and tested for safety at least once every 12 months. The Dash4Safety Testing & Training team recommend inspection before 12 months if the system is subject to exceptional circumstances such as extreme weather conditions such as storms or snow which have the potential to cause damage to the system. General wear and tear, rust, damage to critical components or damage from impact can affect the safety of the system, regular testing can help identify and fix potential issues.

WHAT IS INCLUDED? Testing is detailed and looks at all aspects such as visible damage, missing fittings, rust and deformed or bent parts and components. If it is a safety line ladder the system will be inspected to ensure the cable tension is correct and the line moves freely. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE? The person the equipment is registered to is responsible for ensuring maintenance, testing and training. If it is registered to a company then responsibility is transferred to the CEO or business owner. Association. Following installation, all dash4safety systems are tested and inspected annually by a competent and qualified engineer to ensure they are fit for purpose. This must be done in accordance with relevant industry regulations and standards including:
- Work at Height Regulations
- BS 7883
- BS EN 795
- BS EN 353-1
- BS EN 353-2
And manufacturer’s specific recommendations.
Rope Access Systems
Customers can book directly through our website or our dedicated scheduling team to manage their annual recertification.
We will notify you one month prior to an expiry date that a visit is required. This ensures the testing programme is in place and that you remain complaint.
In the event of system failure or non-compliance, a full report and guidance on the necessary remedial action will be provided, together with the associated costs.
